Overview
When you sign up on HirePanther, you choose an account type on the Choose account type screen. Your choice sets up the right dashboard and tools for what you want to do. This guide explains the difference so you can pick with confidence.
Customer account
Choose Customer if you want to find and book services. A customer account lets you:
- Search and filter services and compare providers.
- Book appointments, choose packages, and pay securely.
- Manage bookings, favourites, and a wallet balance.
- Message providers, leave reviews, and open support tickets.
Provider account
Choose Provider if you offer a service and want clients. A provider account gives you a dedicated provider dashboard where you can:
- Create and manage service listings, packages, and add-ons.
- Complete identity (KYC) verification to build trust.
- Set availability, staff, and holidays, and accept job requests.
- Receive payouts, run promotions, and track earnings and analytics.
- Choose a membership plan that fits your business.
Which should I choose?
- If you mainly need work done, choose Customer.
- If you mainly do the work and want to get paid, choose Provider.
- Want to do both? You can. Many people keep a customer account for booking and a separate provider account for their business.
Can I switch later?
Your account type shapes your dashboard, so the simplest path is to sign up for the role you need now. If you started as a customer and later want to sell services, you can register a provider account and complete provider setup, including KYC verification.
