Overview
Most bookings go smoothly, but if a customer and provider can’t agree — about work quality, a cancellation, or a charge — HirePanther offers a dispute process to reach a fair resolution.
Before you raise a dispute
Many issues are solved faster by talking it out:
- Message the other party in chat and explain the problem clearly.
- Propose a reasonable fix (a redo, partial refund, or reschedule).
- Give them a chance to respond.
Keeping this conversation on-platform means it’s on record if you do need to escalate.
Raise a dispute
- Open the affected booking.
- Choose to open a dispute or contact support about it.
- Describe what went wrong and what outcome you’re seeking.
- Attach evidence — messages, photos, and your booking reference.
- Submit.
Providers can view and respond to disputes from the Disputes section of their dashboard.
