Overview
If a booking is cancelled or something goes wrong, you may be eligible for a refund. Whether and how much you get back depends on the provider’s cancellation policy and the situation. This guide explains how refunds work on HirePanther.
When you may be eligible
- You cancel within the provider’s cancellation policy window.
- The provider cancels or can’t deliver the service.
- A dispute is resolved in your favour.
Late cancellations may be partly or fully non-refundable, so always check the policy before booking.
How to request a refund
- Open the booking from My bookings.
- If eligible, choose to cancel or request a refund.
- If the issue involves the provider, message them first — many situations are resolved directly.
- If you can’t agree, open a dispute or a support ticket and explain what happened.
Where your refund goes
Eligible refunds are typically returned to:
- Your original payment method (for example, the card you paid with), or
- Your HirePanther wallet as a balance you can reuse.
You can confirm a wallet refund in your wallet’s transaction history.
How long it takes
- Wallet refunds usually appear quickly.
- Card refunds can take several business days to show on your statement, depending on your bank.
Tips
- Cancel as early as possible to maximize any refund.
- Keep your booking reference handy when contacting support.
- Check your wallet history and notifications to track the refund status.
